Well we have has so much fun with the girls here. Hannah decided that she wanted to see the capitol so we headed downtown and did the capitol tour. We started out at the capitol itself and the girls were pretty impressed with it. We climbed as far up as we could go and checked out the view from above. We then went to the visitors center and check out all things Texas. There were different areas talking about the history of Texas, and you could try on little outfits from that time period. Hannah and Faith liked the cowgirl outfits and the hats from the settlers. We learned about our state bird, tree, flower, pepper, food, sport, and many others.

After that we decided to cool off from the heat by checking out Barton Springs. Its a natural spring feed pool that stays a wonderful 68 degrees year round. It was pretty packed because it was 102 that day but we had a ton of fun. The girls were a little surprised how cold it was from the reaction I got when they jumped in.
It was a lot of fun and we definitely want to go back, but we are bringing floaties next time. My water phobia kept me from enjoying the full extent when I kept feeling freaky unidentified objects underneath me. Andrew saw
fish in there as well (not big ones mind you, but who knows what else was down there!)
The girls had fun swimming back and forth and people watching. It is fenced off on one end and people would take their dogs there (on the other side) to play in the river. They were really cute playing fetch and romping about in the water.

Over all it was a great day and we had a blast. We are going to miss the girls so much when they leave!
